What needed to be designed

I used this piece to practise turning a loose organic sketch into a manufacturable two-shell product with real split lines, ergonomic curves, and a presentation-grade render.

The Approach

Rebuilt the earpiece and stem as lofted surfaces in SolidWorks, matching the ergonomics of the reference sketch.

Added functional details: speaker mesh, mic pinhole, capacitive touch zone, and a clean parting line for injection-moulded shells.

Rendered on a soft studio background with a gloss-white appearance.
