Professionally trained in AutoCAD and SolidWorks — two of the world's leading engineering design software tools. AutoCAD allows us to produce precise 2D technical drawings, floor plans and architectural layouts that your builders, fabricators and contractors can work from directly. SolidWorks takes it further — enabling full 3D models of your product or part, complete with assembly instructions, bill of materials and manufacturing documentation. The same training also applies to interior and furniture design work, including space planning, layout drawings and custom furniture modelling. If you can imagine it, we can design it digitally before a single piece of metal is cut. The result? Fewer production errors, less wasted material, faster manufacturing and designs your clients and investors can actually see and understand.

Beyond engineering design and web design, Benjamin holds a Python Developer Certification from FreeCodeCamp — representing approximately 300 hours of dedicated work — as well as an AI Career Essentials certification. This technical foundation means our websites and software tools are not just visually professional but built with a deep understanding of how digital systems actually work. DesignForge is led by Benjamin Kawooya, a mechanical engineering designer and developer. Benjamin holds certified training in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Python, and is currently admitted to SRH University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg, Germany, where he is pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. He was also offered admission and scholarships exceeding $300,000 from five universities across the United States — Xavier, Eastern Illinois, Clarkson, Bridgeport and St. Thomas Minnesota — and selected as a finalist for the Ashinaga Africa Initiative, a highly competitive pan-African scholarship program. The founder's technical training and independent recognition support the company's ability to deliver engineering and digital work to an internationally recognized standard.

It is also his lived experience — raised by a single mother — that drives the long-term vision beyond DesignForge: a non-profit dedicated to empowering single parents and their children across East Africa through financial literacy, skill building and mentorship.
